Cybercab fleet operations beyond autonomous driving
Cybercab may remove the need for a driver, but it does not remove the Owner’s business responsibilities. A commercial vehicle still needs charging access, routine inspection, cleaning, parking, service coordination, exception response, insurance, and a clear readiness picture.
TREVLER provides one operating layer for that work. Owners can coordinate independent service techs—called Trevlers—assigned Managers, Owner-controlled locations, parking partners, and local vehicle-service businesses without building every support function on day one.
Two systems with different jobs
The Tesla app and Tesla systems should remain the Owner’s source for Tesla vehicle functions, network participation, rider dispatch, autonomy, and Tesla-specific requirements.
The TREVLER App is designed for the Owner’s supporting operations: readiness work, local people and partners, operating visibility, costs, and the physical services a vehicle may need between revenue trips.
TREVLER does not promise access to Tesla’s network and does not present itself as an alternative robotaxi network.
Support for the first cab and the next one
A single Cybercab Owner may need help without wanting a full-time employee or dedicated depot. A growing fleet needs repeatable operations that do not depend on calls, texts, and disconnected spreadsheets.
TREVLER is being tested now with Model 3 and Model Y. The same operating support is intended for any Tesla that Tesla approves for private robotaxi participation—not only Cybercab. That may include eligible Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck vehicles. Current access to FSD (Supervised) does not itself mean a vehicle is approved for unsupervised commercial Robotaxi service.
- Charging and readiness coordination: Organize routine physical work around vehicle availability.
- Cleaning and inspection support: Help keep vehicles presentable, checked, and documented.
- Local service access: Connect the fleet with approved parking and service capacity as needed.
- Owner visibility: See what is handled, what needs attention, and what the fleet costs.
- Flexible control: Use the marketplace, Managers, Owner-controlled locations, or a combination that fits the business.
Fixed pricing instead of percentage-based fleet management
An Owner already faces the costs of acquiring, insuring, powering, maintaining, repairing, parking, and operating the vehicles. Giving up a percentage of revenue can become increasingly expensive as the fleet earns more—especially when many operating expenses still remain with the Owner.
TREVLER platform fees are fixed and never a percentage of robotaxi revenue. Service costs remain tied to the support the fleet uses. Owners retain the ability to make operating decisions and keep the upside from stronger vehicle performance.
Focus on availability and profitability
TREVLER is designed to turn operating activity into useful business insight. Owners should be able to understand fleet readiness, service activity, downtime, and included costs, then use that information to improve availability and net earning potential.
Results will depend on Tesla’s terms, rider demand, utilization, fares, energy, insurance, financing, maintenance, taxes, downtime, and other costs. Projections and recommendations are planning tools, not guarantees.
